Yellow River Game Ranch

Today we went to the Yellow River game ranch with the Willard's:) We had such a good time. This is the slide show that Troy created and I cheated and posted it to our blog. I will get ours up as soon as I can. I have been bad with pictures lately. Rylie was a hoot this time. Last time she was like whatever she loved all the animals and was cool with all of them. This time is was like heck no....get off me man. We even had a squirrel get in the diaper bag looking around and then in our bag of goodies looking for a nut. It was great I got those pictures on my camera. It was so good to be with friends and those girls so young and precious. I love to watch them see things through their eyes and the things that they say...such as "butt-a-loes" aka buffalo per Kenzi:)
It was so cute. Then a chicken 1/4 of Rylie's size charged at her and she threw her sippy cup at them and ran for the hills after letting out this high pitched scream. It was so funny at the time but took a couple of minutes to soothe her.
Rylie thinks that she is just as big as they are. It was so cute she wanted to hold their hands all through the trail. She is such a sweetie when she wants to be:)

Robbie's presentation in Anaheim CA

http://webmail.windstream.net/agent/mobmain/Baby0002_2.wmv?fold=INBOX&msgvw=INBOXMN382DELIM26251&part=2&FileName=Baby0002_2.wmv

check this out this is the end of Robbie's presentation for california. He goes at the end of august and this was just finished for the presentation and I wanted to share it. I think it is so oddly cute of Rylie. As many of you know I don't take a liking to clowns much and this reminds me of the etrade (i think) commercial with the baby and there is "bobo" the clown in the background in the baby's room...creeeeeepyyyy...
anyway just wanted to share !
Have a Blessed day!!

Stephen Curtis Chapman "when love takes you in"

Ok so I have been like totally taking my spare time and looking at all the adoption stuff of the web. I know this song very well from Rylie's adoption, but I didn't have a blog then so I wanted to share this will you guys if you have not heard of the song before...The video is awesome...It is so true "a miracle begins with the beat of a heart" that is where it all begins.....We went to see SCC at Gwinnett the christmas before Rylie came to us and I bought a shirt that says "all I want for christmas" on the front and on the back it says "is a family" and that was all we wanted and just a few months later we were blessed with our Rylie Bug...SCC is obviously pro-adoption and he had some orphans actually come out and sing on one of his songs on stage...a tear jerker...

Cardboard Confessions

So I must be the worst blogger in the world...it seems that they get further and further behind.
I wanted to share this with you guys. I BELIEVE it was Kelly Rainey that shared this the first time with me if I am wrong I apologize. But this is the cardboard testomonies and it is awesome I put it on the blog before but man it just touches Robbie and I.
Our church is doing this on August 10th and asked Robbie and I to be a part of it and of course we are stoked to share anything about our infertility with anyone. Maybe God can use us and touch someone that day through our sharing.
Maybe we will put CMC's cardboard testomonies on you tube so I can share the real thing with you guys. God bless you and enjoy this awesome you tube video...

Thanks for sharing Dawn!! A fellow adoptive mom:)

The Top 13 Reasons Why Adoption is For You!

1. The fact that there are 143 million children without a parent to kiss them goodnight has made you lose sleep.
2. You realize DNA has nothing to do with love and family.
3. You can't watch Adoption Stories on TLC without sobbing.
4. The fact that, if 7% of Christians adopted 1 child there would be no orphans in the world, is convicting to you.
5. You spend free time surfing blogs about families who have experienced the blessing of adoption.
6. It drives you crazy when people ask you about adopted child's "real" parents.
7. You have ever been "pregnant" with your adoptive child longer than it takes an elephant to give birth. (2 years!)
8. You had no idea how you would afford to adopt but stepped out in faith anyway, knowing where God calls you He will provide. (AMEN TO THAT)
9. You have ever taken an airplane ride half-way around the world with a child you just met.
10. You believe God's heart is for adoption.
11. You realize that welcoming a child into your heart and family is one of the most important legacies you could ever leave on this earth.
12. You know what the word "Dossier" means, and you can actually pronounce it!
13. You shudder when people say your child is so lucky that you adopted them, knowing full well you are the BLESSED one to have him or her in your life.

I just cried when I read this....because number 13 happens all the time and we just look at Rylie and say man what did we EVER do to deserve a baby as special as she is. We are the blessed ones to have her as a daughter. God chose us to raise her and we are the blessed ones:)
Thanks Dawn for sharing this email with me...it was awesome!!!!

JULY 4th!

We have had a great 4th of July. I have been off since last Tuesday and unfortunatly have to return tomorrow. Robbie had friday and monday off so he got a long weekend as well. We had everyone over on friday and cooked out and then had fireworks. It was so nice just hanging out with the family and everyone being healthy. God is good to us that is for sure. Rylie liked the fireworks but she had more fun with the bubbles that her and "crica" were playing with. She LOVES her bubbles. Saturday we went shopping. Rylie did so well with her potty training. SHe has had the poopy thing down we are still working on peepee. When you are out shopping it makes it a little harder because she gets busy and doesn't want to take the time to go. She did great wore the same potty pull up ALL day long. It was nice...we saw every single bath room that the stores had to offer:)
Sunday was a GREAT day at church with friends and family and then Rylie went to Gigi's and popa's and mommy and daddy had some quiet time at home;)
We actually worked on some things for Rylie's upcoming 2nd birthday party. I don't want to wait till the last minute. I want things ready to go if you know what I mean. We are doing an "elmo" theme this year. Elmo makes me smile just to look at him...I just love that little guy:) she does too.
Today was the errand day. We went for breakfast and been on the road since. Robbie went and had oil change, rotated tires and had my car washed. Then this afternoon Rylie starts her swimming lessons.
How fun...we hope she does well. Just wanted to share a couple of our pictures especially the one with Robbie doing the rain dance it actually worked.
So if you need him to do one again there will be a small nominal fee:) Just kidding man we needed that rain something fierce.
Anyway keep praying for us with the unspoken prayer request. We have not heard anything else in regards to it, so we believe no news is good news. We will share as soon as we know more about this ok....thanks ahead for the prayers
Love you all
