Rylie's First Haircut and more

I don't know why these pictures didn't come out clearer, however just wanted to share with you some pictures of Rylie's first haircut. It was hard for mommy and Rylie I can not believe our baby will be two years old on monday. Time flies by so fast. There is a couple of my pictures from the petting zoo with the girls, Mik and Mak, and Rylie at her swimming lessons on the last day with her certificate. She did such a good job. We were so proud of her. I can wait till next year with her and swimming.
Have a blessed day!

Steven Curtis Chapman on GMA today

I just had to share this clip from Good morning america today. It is so amazing to see this family triump over tragedy. Steven Curtis Chapman has meant a lot to Robbie and I during our adoption process. He and his family ahve such a heart for adoption and they give so much support through Shohannah's Hope and now the Marie Miracle Fund. I will never forget us seeing him in concert right after we signed with our adoption agency. It was just more comfirmation for us that we were going in the right direction for God's will in our lives. Get out your tissue's with this clip though

our unspoken prayer request!

Ok...so some of you may know...We had an unspoken prayer request several weeks back, and so now we can tell more people about it since our entire 3 services at church on sunday will know about it during our "cardboard confessions" our church is doing that this sunday and we are apart of it and will be telling everyone our news...
if you don't know what cardboard confessions are see one of my other blogs and there is an example on you tube of one...
this is going to be long story short because it is a lot to tell...if ANYONE has any questions they can email me and I will tell you more..so bare with us on this...we need all the prayers sent up on this one:)
here it goes....i had a young girl come in to confirm pregnancy because she wanted an abortion if she was pregnant. She said she was not ready to be a mom and was to start college this fall. well I told her there was other options such as adoption take it from an adoptive mother it is the biggest blessing in the world. She said I know nothing about adoption, so I told her to watch Juno..she is 20 so she could relate to that...and it is a good adoption story. (go see it if you have not a little fowl language, but not too bad). well several weeks later she calls me out of the blue and wants to know if Robbie and I wanted another baby, because her and her boyfriend were not ready to be parents...so of course we are JUMPING at the chance...we talked about it PRAYED about it and told her YES!!!
The BF(birthfather) is in total support of adoption plan due to he is in the mortgage business and things are down and he says finacially and timing in not on their side. He is not ready to do this...(however he has another son by someone else he may or may not be supporting?)
well since all of this her (BM) father has passed away and her mother wants her to go to counseling before she makes any decisions because she doesn't want her to make any hasty decisions(understandable). The BM (birthmother) says I made up my mind before dad passed, but I am going to appese my mom???
anyway she called july 25 and said hey I went to the doctor and found out the sex of the baby and everything looks good. She told me about her mother wanting her to do counseling. And I agreed because the last thing Robbie and I need to do is loose a lot of money that we don't even have yet if you know what I mean.
So to say the least we need prayer or BM,BF, BABY and us in this situation and prayer that God's will be done for this baby what ever it may be if it was to tell her about "Juno", so she didn't get abortion or if it is to be the parents of this baby. We know he will protect us. It is so hard thought because we are RIGHT slap dab in the middle, and with an agency this goes on behind the scence so to speak. A BM counselor called us tonight and spoke to me to length about the positive and negatives of what has transpired since we talked to BM last. It is still so up in the air. She is due Nov 6th...which seems an eternity away but it is really not. We step out in faith with Rylie we painted a room, got furniture for the room with out knowing anything EXCEPT that God would provide us a baby in HIS time, and he did HIS perfect time. So Robbie and I are doing the same with this one. Robbie is currently building a closet in our bonus room, so he can move his clothes out of "baby's" closet. We have been looking at names and themes just like we did with Rye. We hope and pray that God honors that and meets us like he did before with Rylie. (you must see facing the giants the movie. We watched that the weekend before we knew about this baby. no joke after watching the movie Robbie said "baby we need to prepare our fields for rain, we need to prepare for a blessing from God that he will provide that baby he has put in our hearts...no joke we started cleaning out our spare bedroom that weekend and she called me on wed. of that week...God is Good)
But it is a huge story to tell you all the things that have fell into place so far with this...it is just so God like only He could have done all of this so far :) keep us in your prayers.

Yellow River Game Ranch

Today we went to the Yellow River game ranch with the Willard's:) We had such a good time. This is the slide show that Troy created and I cheated and posted it to our blog. I will get ours up as soon as I can. I have been bad with pictures lately. Rylie was a hoot this time. Last time she was like whatever she loved all the animals and was cool with all of them. This time is was like heck no....get off me man. We even had a squirrel get in the diaper bag looking around and then in our bag of goodies looking for a nut. It was great I got those pictures on my camera. It was so good to be with friends and those girls so young and precious. I love to watch them see things through their eyes and the things that they say...such as "butt-a-loes" aka buffalo per Kenzi:)
It was so cute. Then a chicken 1/4 of Rylie's size charged at her and she threw her sippy cup at them and ran for the hills after letting out this high pitched scream. It was so funny at the time but took a couple of minutes to soothe her.
Rylie thinks that she is just as big as they are. It was so cute she wanted to hold their hands all through the trail. She is such a sweetie when she wants to be:)

Robbie's presentation in Anaheim CA

http://webmail.windstream.net/agent/mobmain/Baby0002_2.wmv?fold=INBOX&msgvw=INBOXMN382DELIM26251&part=2&FileName=Baby0002_2.wmv

check this out this is the end of Robbie's presentation for california. He goes at the end of august and this was just finished for the presentation and I wanted to share it. I think it is so oddly cute of Rylie. As many of you know I don't take a liking to clowns much and this reminds me of the etrade (i think) commercial with the baby and there is "bobo" the clown in the background in the baby's room...creeeeeepyyyy...
anyway just wanted to share !
Have a Blessed day!!

Stephen Curtis Chapman "when love takes you in"

Ok so I have been like totally taking my spare time and looking at all the adoption stuff of the web. I know this song very well from Rylie's adoption, but I didn't have a blog then so I wanted to share this will you guys if you have not heard of the song before...The video is awesome...It is so true "a miracle begins with the beat of a heart" that is where it all begins.....We went to see SCC at Gwinnett the christmas before Rylie came to us and I bought a shirt that says "all I want for christmas" on the front and on the back it says "is a family" and that was all we wanted and just a few months later we were blessed with our Rylie Bug...SCC is obviously pro-adoption and he had some orphans actually come out and sing on one of his songs on stage...a tear jerker...

Cardboard Confessions

So I must be the worst blogger in the world...it seems that they get further and further behind.
I wanted to share this with you guys. I BELIEVE it was Kelly Rainey that shared this the first time with me if I am wrong I apologize. But this is the cardboard testomonies and it is awesome I put it on the blog before but man it just touches Robbie and I.
Our church is doing this on August 10th and asked Robbie and I to be a part of it and of course we are stoked to share anything about our infertility with anyone. Maybe God can use us and touch someone that day through our sharing.
Maybe we will put CMC's cardboard testomonies on you tube so I can share the real thing with you guys. God bless you and enjoy this awesome you tube video...
