Adoption Update:)

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share an update with everyone. Birthmother called me today she was to have a MD appointment last thursday to do glucose testing, and she vomited all the glucocola up and they made her reschedule today. When she got there today they made her eat jelly beans and did the test. She said they said all was well with the baby. She is 28 weeks pregnant and baby looks good.
She also gave me some days that were good for her and the birthfather to meet with the birthmother counselor. That is a HUGE step for us, because she called US to give US dates to meet with this lady(shows commitment).....We will be paying out of pocket for her to go to this BM counselor to talk to her and the BM counselor weighs out the risks and benefits of the adoption. She has dealt with bithmothers and adoptions for along time and even though nothing is 100%. She actually knows what to look for if BM is wavering in her decision and can talk to us and give us her opinion of what she thinks about the BM/BF and their validity. She goes over the entire process of what will go down with everyone at the hospital and how an private adoption works. I called the BM counselor today to leave a message so we all can meet. She will meet with us, them and then all of us. Pray for this encounter it will be more that likely in september, because Robbie is going out of town next week. Pray for all of us and pray for finances.
She tells me she is still commited in her decision. She started college yesterday full time and says that she is really excited about starting and "wants to get back on track with her life". I told her we went this weekend and picked out baby bedding and that my mother in law bought a couple of outfits and 2 pairs of boots for the little guy already. I asked her if she had any fears or apprehension right now and she said that she is afraid to go into labor in class at school and fear of having a c-section. Both are very ligitimate concerns...but I am praying and asking you to pray specifically for this girl in both of these fears. She said that she would not want a c-section due to recovery she wants to straight back to college and get on with her life and then there would always be a scare and a reminder for her. The birthmother counselor when we spoke with her before of the phone said that BM that have c-sections are more apt to keep the babies for what ever reason. SO PLEASE pray specifically that God protects her and the baby and no c-section for her and she makes it to hospital in time (her concern). I know that all sounds so crazy but this IS all so crazy and fast but will be such a GOD THING when it comes together and we know that it will. We spoke for a long time on the phone at work and all seems well. I even told her that Rylie is calling her baby "bruder" "elmo" and she cracked up about it. She thought that was too cute and I told her if he didn't come out red and fuzzy with big eyes then she might be disappointed:)
I came home and shared all of this with Robbie, and we still very solid in our decision and in her decision so now it is all GOD:)
Thanks ahead for all the prayers. We love and appreciate you all!
Billie, Robbie and Rylie
